You'd also like to include an ingredient that helps to unblock the pores of the skin so that there is a good environment for healthy skin (and a poor one for bacteria to thrive in).

Skinoren cream contains azelaic acid, an ingredient that kills P. acnes but also reduces the growth of keratin surface cells that are known to block pores. One ingredient with a dual action. Azelaic acid is generally considered to be safe although there may be a mild stinging sensation for just a few minutes after application. Best results are achieved with twice a day application after washing and drying the affected area.
