Clearblue Digital Ovulation Test is an highly effective test to check for ovulation to help you to get pregnant. It works by dectecting in your urine, a surge (increase) in a fertility hormone called Luteninising Hormone (LH). This LH surge happens approximately 24 - 36 hours before ovulation which is when the egg is released from your ovaries. You are at your most fertile on the day of your LH surge and the next.

Clearblue Digital Ovulation Test Directions:

Do NOT urinate for at least FOUR HOURS BEFORE doing the test
Remove the test stick from the foil
Line up both pink arrows and insert the test stick into test holder until it clicks into place
A 'Test Ready' symbol will appear - do NOT use until the symbol appears
When the 'Test Ready' symbol appears, do the test straight away
The test can be done either of two ways:
- Directly in your urine stream - Place only the absorbent sampler POINTING DOWNWARDS in the urine stream for FIVE to SEVEN SECONDS, taking care not the get the test holder wet.
- In a sample of your urine - Collect urine in a clean, dry container and dip just the absorbent sampler POINT DOWNWARDS into the sample for FIFTEEN SECONDS
The 'Test Ready' symbol will start to flash after TWENTY to FOURTY SECONDS to show that the test is working
Keep the absorbent sampler either pointing downwards or lieing flat while you wait for the results and do NOT eject the test stick
Replace the cap and wipe off any excess urine
Within THREE MINUTES the display will show your results:
- If it is an empty circle - There is NO detected LH surge. Test again tomorrow at the same time using a new test stick.
- If it is a circle with a smilie face in it - There is a detected LH surge and you are at your most fertile. Make love in the next 48 hours to maximise your chances of becoming pregnant. There is no need to test again in this cycle.
The results will stay on the test holders display for EIGHT MINUTES
The test stick must be removed after the results have been read and NOT used again
