Weleda Cough Elixir is a Soothing Expectorant for the Relief of Wet and Dry Coughs

Weleda Cough Elixir Combines Herbal and Homeopathic Ingredients that Support the Natural Healing and Immune Strengthening Processes to Help Relieve Cough and Colds

Weleda Cough Elixir is effective for a range of coughs, helping to soothe and relax the throat and chest, decrease mucous formation and aid expectoration. Weleda Organic Cough Elixir does not suppress the cough as it is a protective mechanism for clearing breathing passages.

Althaea (Marshmallow root), Pimpinella (Aniseed), Drosera (the Sundew), and Ipecacuanha act together to help soothe irritated mucous membranes in the throat and chest, by reducing inflammation and relaxing constricted muscles. Plantago (Plaintain), Thymus (Thyme) and Marrubium (Horehound) are expectorants, helping to break up and eliminate mucous. Inula (Elecampane) helps relieve chest congestion.

Directions: Take one 5ml teaspoon (child) or two 5ml teaspoons (adult) in warm water up to every two to three hours, or as directed by your health care professional. Reduce the frequency of doses and then stop taking the remedy as relief is obtained.

Ingredients: Each 5ml contains:

Tincture, equiv. fresh juice: Drosera rotundifolia MIS, whole plant 5mg; Decoction, equiv. dry: Althaea officinalis (Marshmallow), root 50mg; Inula helenium (Elecampane), root 100mg; Marrubium vulgare (Horehound), leaf 25mg; Pimpinella anisum (Aniseed), fruit 75mg; Plantago lanceolata, leaf 175mg; Thymus vulgaris, herb 150mg; and Citrus limon (Lemon), fresh fruit juice 300mg; and homoeopathic ingredients: Ipecacuanha, decoct. 1x, 5mg; Pulsatilla vulgaris 3x, 5mg.
Contains sugars, including maltose from Malt Extract.
