Nurofen Gel for targeted relief from sprains, strains and sports injuries

Nurofen Gel is an odourless, non-greasy and easily absorbed anti-inflamatory gel.

Nurofen Gel is for the temporary relief from the pain and inflammation associated with acute soft tissue injuries including sports injuries, strains and sprains.  It is quickly absorbed through the skin and into the muscles and joints to effectively ease the pain.  It can also be used for the relief from arthritic pain or back pain where topical relief is preferred.

Nurofen Gel Directions: Adults and children over 12 years of age: Squeeze 4-10cm (50mg-125mg of ibuprofen) of gel onto the affected area then replace the cap. Gently rub the gel into the skin until it is all absorbed.  Wash hands immediatly after use, unless the hands are being treated.

Nurofen Gel Ingredients: Each gram contains:

• Ibuprofen - 5% w/w
• Benzyl alcohol (1% w/w) (preservative) and alcohol

Nurofen Gel Precautions: Keep Nurofen Gel out of reach of children. Do NOT use Nurofen Gel if you have a known allergy to any of the ingredients listed. Do NOT exceed the recommended dose.  Do NOT reapply more gel within four hours.  Do NOT apply Nurofen Gel more that four times in 24 hours.  Do NOT use on broken skin, or on/near mucus membranes including eyes and lips. Nurofen Gel is for external use only.

Seek medial advice BEFORE use of Nurofen Gel if you:

• Have asthma
• Are pregnant
• Are taking any other medications that contain ibuprofen, aspirin or other anti-inflammatory medicines
• Are allergic to ibuprofen, aspirin, or other anti-inflammatory medicine

Seek medical attention DURING use of Nurofen Gel if you:

• Experience a rash or skin irritation
• Do not experience relief from your syptoms after seven days
