Voltaren Emulgel provides relief from:

Voltaren Emulgel is part of a family of medicines called non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAID's), with the active ingredient being Diclofenac.  This anti-inflammatory analgesic gel has a transdermal gel base so that it is absorbed through the skin into the soft tissue and muscles quickly and effectively to give fast relief from pain and inflammation while reducing any swelling.

Voltaren Emulgel Directions: Rub the gel gently into the skin, covering the entire painful or swollen area. Use it THREE or FOUR times a day. Wash hands immediately after use, unless they are being treated.

Voltaren Emulgel Ingredients: Each gram contains:

• Diclofenac Diethylammonium Gel (Equiv. Dicofenac Sodium 10mg) (1% w/w) - 11.6mg
• Diethylamine, carbomer 934P, cetomacrogol 1000, cococaprylate/caprate, isopropyl alcohol, liquid paraffin, perfume, propylene glycol, and water

Voltaren Emulgel Precautions: Keep Voltaren Emulgel out of reach of children. Do NOT use Voltaren Emulgel if you have a known allergy to any of the ingredients listed. Do NOT exceed the recommended dose. Do NOT use Voltaren Emulgel for more than 2 weeks unless on medical advice. Do NOT swallow, or apply to mucus membranes including eyes. Do NOT use Voltaren Emulgel on open wounds, injuries, or skin with a rash or an infection.

Seek medical advice BEFORE using Voltaren Emulgel if you:

• Have asthma
• Have ulcers in/bleeding from or other serious problems with the stomach or bowel
• Have severe kidney disease
• Are pregnant or breast feeding
• Take warfarin
• Take aspirin, salicylates or any other NSAID medicines
• Take any other medications
• Are allergic to aspirin, any NSAID medicine, or any other pain relief medicines

Seek medical attention DURING use of Voltaren Emulgel if you experience:

• Swelling or blistering
• Skin becomes sensitive to sunlight
• Asthma, wheezing or shortness of breath
• Swelling of the face, lips, tongue or throat
• Hives, itching or a skin rash
• Fainting
