Zyrtec provides fast, effective hayfever and allergy relief.

Zyrtec is a rapid acting, non-drowsy tablet that gives 24 hour relief.

Zyrtec relieves the symptoms of hayfever such as runny nose, nasal and sinus congestion, itchy nose and eyes, and sneezing.  It can be used to treat allergic conjunctivitis, insect bites and hives and is also highly effective at relieving allergic skin conditions that cause itching, and rashes.  These symptoms are due to an allergic reaction between allergens (pollen, dust etc) and certain cells in the body.  This reaction causes the release of a number of chemical substances which irritate the body including one chemical substance called histamine.  Zyrtec is an antihistamine that counteracts the effects of histamine.

Zyrtec works at easing the symptoms in about 10-20 mins after taking it and lasts for 24 hours so only needs to be taken once a day.

Zyrtec Dosage: Adults and children over 6 years of age:  Take ONE Zyrtec tablet ONCE daily.  Some people may require only HALF a tablet ONCE a day, like people with kidney problems or those who may feel drowsy if they take a whole tablet.  A maximum of TWO tablets ONCE daily for larger people or those who find that one tablet is not enough.  Children between 1 years of age and 6 years of age: Take HALF a tablet ONCE daily.

Zyrtec Ingredients: Each tablet contains:

• Cetirizine Hydrochloride - 10mg
• Lactose, magnesium stearate, opadry Y-1-7000, microcrystalline cellulose and colloidal anhydrous silica.

Zyrtec Precautions: Keep Zyrtec out of reach of children. Do NOT take Zyrtec if you have a known allergy to any of the ingredients listed. Do NOT exceed the recommended dose.

Seek medical advice BEFORE taking Zyrtec if you:

• Have kidney problems
• Are on any other medication
• Are pregnant, might become pregnant, or are breast feeding
• Have a hypersensitivity to Zyrtec

Seek medical attention DURING taking Zyrtec if you experience:

• Dry mouth
• Fatigue
• Wheezing
• Difficulty in breathing
• Lumpy rash (hives)
• Itchiness
• Swelling of the lips, tounge or mouth
• Fainting
