"To celebrate my 20th lipstick I wanted to pay tribute to the love of my craft with a lust-worthy blue-based red. It had to be completely different from any red that I had designed before and it had to symbolise the love that I felt when I wore my first red lipstick"

Karen Murrell Natural Lipsticks are a quality lipstick formulated with a natural base + Zero Nasties which taste and smell great. Karen Murrell Natural Lipsticks are rich in natural pigment, ensuring each lipstick has intense colour, is long wearing and does not feather. Karen Murrell uses only the finest or organic, natural and proven safe chemical ingredients, from ethical and/or renewable sources. These lipsticks do not contain any mineral oils, animal-based material, parabens or preservatives. Not only are they good for your body, they are also good for our environment. Active Ingredients:

• Candelilla (Euphorbia cerifera): The candelilla plant grows in the semi-arid environment of northern Mexico. Plants growing in the hottest and driest areas produce a protective covering, which yields a hard vegetable wax of superior quality after processing. .Candelilla wax is yellow, and is celebrated in lipstick production for its hard, brittle, glossy and slightly tacky properties.
• Evening primrose oil (Oenothera biennis): Rich in omega-6, soothing and very moisturising.
• Castor oil (Ricinus communis): Excellent emollient properties and a high-acting pigment dispersant. Due to it's high viscosity, castor oil also helps to suspend pigment in the manufacturing process to avoid settling when hot. Karen Murrell Lipstick pigments are milled into castor oil in a ball mill. The milling process reduces particle size and ensures even suspension and distribution.
