Spanish Olive Leaf

Contains, amongst other things, the active ingredient Oleuropein which has been shown to be a natural wide-spectrum antibiotic, with anti-bacterial, anti-viral, and anti-fungal actions. It seems to have these actions by being able to penetrate infected cells and inhibiting the bacteria/virus replicating making it very effective against colds, flu, and upper respiratory and sinus infections. Oleuropein is also a powerful antioxidant. Spanish Olive Leaf also contains other antioxidants Hydroxytyrosol & Tyrosol, all of which help the body fight inflammation

Andrographis Leaf

Andrographis paniculata is an herb native to the Indian subcontinent and is used in Ayurvedic (Ancient Indian) medicine for centuries for convalescence after fevers and has been shown to possess significant antimicrobial activity lessening the severity and frequency of colds and reducing the need for over-prescribing of antibiotics.

Pau d’Arco Bark

Pau d'Arco is a rain forest canopy tree native to South and Latin America. Pau d'Arco has a long and well-documented history of use by the indigenous Native Amazon peoples in the treatment of colds, coughs, flu, malaria, fever and respiratory problems. The antimicrobial properties of many of Pau d'Arco's active phytochemicals have been demonstrated in many clinical trials to exhibit strong in-vitro activity against various gram positive and gram negative bacteria, fungi and yeasts, and also in-vitro antiviral properties against various viruses, including Herpes I and II, influenza. In short, all the sorts of bugs that thrive and are easily communicable in Winter

Zinc

Zinc is known to play a central role in the immune system, and the zinc-deficient often experience increased susceptibility to a variety of pathogens.  Zinc has an influence at many levels of the immune system - from the barrier of the skin, to gene regulation within lymphocytes. Zinc is crucial for normal development and function of cells involved in providing nonspecific immunity such as neutrophils and natural killer cells.
