Levrix Contains Levocetirizine, a New Generation Antihistamine Which is Effective For Treating Allergies Including Seasonal Allergic Rhinitis (SAR), Persistent Allergic Rhinitis (PAR) and Urticaria (Hives).

Levrix acts to relieve the following symptoms:
- Runny nose
- Itchy eyes
- Itchy nose
- Sneezing
- Skin allergies
- Watery eyes
- Blocked nose - proven nasal decongestion action
Allergies are incredibly common and affect a large percentage of the population all year round. Symptoms can often be persistent, and associated with disturbed sleep, poor concentration and general lethargy. Symptoms can also increase the risk of sinus infection and conjunctivitis due to frequent rubbing of eyes. Asthma can also be more difficult to control, along with the danger of respiratory infection. It is important to treat your allergies to avoid complications.
Levrix provides a double action formula for hayfever and allergy relief. Levrix contains only the active ingredient levocetirizine, which, on its own, is more effective at blocking histamine release. The antihistamine Cetirizine contains both active levocetririzine and also the inactive form, dextrocetirizine, of which may compete with levocetirizine for the histamine receptors and may reduce overall relief. Contributing to its effctivesness, Levrix contains 2 of the active levocetirizine enantiomers, and it has also been found that levoceterizine has twice the affinity for the human histamine 1 receptor as cetirizine.
Directions: Take one tablet once daily

- Levocetirizine Dihydrochloride - 5mg
- Also contains Lactose

Levrix tablets
I’ve found they work well for me. Normal cetrizine tabs never quite hit the mark.

Excellent for hayfever and cat allergies
I came across this product while travelling in Greece and coming down with a bout of hives! I was surprised with its effectiveness (the doctor had me double dose for a few days), and have since been taking it once daily to help with my cat allergy. Though it isn’t supposed to make you drowsy, I find that it helps me sleep and is best taken at night before bed.

Levrix has worked more effectively than all other allergy tablets
My daughter tried all other allergy tablets for MS related allergic reactions and found that this was the best tablet on the market and the only one that helped prevent progression to anaphylaxis. Regretfully it is not available in Australia but we are grateful that NZ-online Pharmacy stocks this over the counter medication and commend them on the excellent and prompt service they have provided over time.
