Nature's Sunshine Chelated Iron Provides a Non Constipating Form of Iron (Ferrous Gluconate) that is Usually Well-Absorbed by the Body

Nature's Sunshine Chelated Iron contains ferrous gluconate, amino acid chelate,to support energy metabolism. Iron is used by the body in making myoglobin (supplying oxygen for muscle contractions) and hemoglobin, the central molecule of red blood cells, which travel to the lungs to pick up oxygen and deliver it to the tissues. Iron is also involved in energy metabolism. Without sufficient iron, the tissues, muscles and other systems do not receive adequate oxygen and thus they cannot perform properly. This product provides iron (ferrous gluconate) that is gentle on the bowel and contains vitamin C to promote iron absorption by the body.
