Use XyliMelts during the day or while sleeping and find temporary relief from frequent thirst, sticky dryness in the mouth and throat, and other unpleasant dry mouth symptoms. Made with xylitol, a natural sweetener that helps stimulate saliva flow, XyliMelts utilize adhering disc technology to slowly release 550 mg of xylitol, which is most effective when continuously released and lingers in the mouth, especially when used while sleeping when saliva flow is lowest. Directions: Place tan adhesive side on the outside of a molar and/or adjoining gums, upper or lower, white side of disc touching cheek. Use two discs while sleeping, one on each side of the mouth. During the day, use as needed.

My dentist recommended these to me. Very good product. I have no complaints about the product itself. I use these at night because a tablet I take,, Solifinacin, makes my mouth so very dry at night and the XyliMelts don't last all night. It would be great if the XyliMelts could be made to last longer, like 7 or 8 hours. I take one in the middle of the night if I wake up which solves the problem, but I don't always wake up to take a second one. Also they are very expensive when taking two every night.

Help with my dry mouth but, because my 'new' tongue doesn't work too well, I am unable to reposition them with my tongue as instructed. Is there a flavour less one available?

Couldn’t do without them. Have had very dry mouth since having radiation for cancer of the throat many years ago. Would highly recommend them.

Post Radiation Saliva Assistance
My husband has undergone extensive radiation and chemotherapy …. and has virtually no saliva. These have been helpful at nighttime to provide a small amount of lubrication in lieu of saliva. Sometimes they don’t adhere but that’s probably a ‘user error’ … hoping that the xylitol component also assists with keeping mouth germs and cavities at bay based on current research and findings. Will place a third order shortly - our NZ-online-pharmacy provider has been superb … prompt communication & delivery. Thank you Team.
