- Getting prepared -
- For best results, ensure the area you want to wax is clean and dry – free from lotions and oils.
- Determine the direction of your hair growth. Notice if your hair grows downward in a straight line or diagonally towards the centre of your face. Your eyebrow hair and upper lip hair will usually grow at a diagonal. Hair on your cheeks and jawline may grow straight downward or at a diagonal.
- How to use -
- Warm the strips between your hands for 5 seconds to make them supple
- Slowly separate the 2 strips, to ensure an even layer of wax on each strip, giving you 2 ready to use strips. Hair on jawline may grow straight downward or at a diagonal
- Apply the strip with firm pressure, smoothing down in the direction of the hair growth with your palm 3 times, ensuring the hair is immersed in wax
- Holding the skin firm and tight (taut) with one hand, grab the strip with the other, and quickly zip back against the hair growth. Aim to keep the strip close and parallel to the skin for maximum results
- Tidy up loose wax just like a professional! Remove the excess wax by dabbing the wax on the skin with a section of the used strip
- Ideally, aim for hair length about 3mm, think the length of a grain of rice vibes, that’s the zone for maximum grip.
