Equazen Capsules contain a high EPA Fish Oil formulation which may assist in the maintenance of healthy development of the brain and concentration levels. Equazen Capsules combine Omega-3 and Omega-6 long-chain fatty acids that are essential to healthy brain and eye function. The natural oils in which these constituents are delivered are high-grade, pure oils that are processed and selected to the highest standard, to allow the fatty acids to remain in their natural form.
Equazen Capsules are formulated based on research carried out in leading universities and Education Authorities, with results published in prominent scientific journals. EPA (Eicosapentaenoic Acid, an Omega-3) in particular has been indicated as playing a vital role in developing and maintaining certain domains of healthy brain and eye functioning, including learning ability and concentration.
Dietary fats are part of our everyday diet. They belong to a larger group of compounds called lipids. Lipids help build our cell membranes and are vital to our central nervous system – making up about 50-60% of the weight of our brain. Of these brain lipids, approximately 35% are made up of polyunsaturated fatty acids (PUFAs), which include Omega-3 and Omega-6 fatty acids. PUFAs are important to brain development and functioning. Essential fatty acids (EFAs) are PUFAs that cannot be made or stored by your body and must be provided by food or supplements. Lower ranges of these EFAs are linked to impairment in cognitive function.
Today, in many countries, the typical diet may not be optimalin these EFAs. Equazen provides a balanced supplementation of Omega-3 (EPA, DHA) and Omega-6 (GLA) fatty acids to people who want to increase the amount of fatty acids in their diet. Equazen is made from a scientifically proven ratio of EPA:DHA:GLA=9:3:1, which has been shown in clinical trials to help improve attention and learning, and reduce hyperactivity.
Directions: For the first 12 weeks take six capsules daily, with food. After 12 weeks take two capsules daily, to maintain intake. Equazen capsules are suitable for both adults and children over 5 years of age

Capsules are gluten and casein-free, Equazen® gelatine used in the clear capsules is certified halal. There are no added artificial colours or flavours.
