MooGoo Anti-Ageing Antioxidant Cream Contains Powerful Antioxidants in a Natural Base for Healthy and Youthful Skin
MooGoo Anti-Ageing Antioxidant Cream takes a two step approach to anti-ageing: Firstly the oil base mimics the Oil Balance of Young Skin. Moist and supple skin resists forming lines. The main base of the cream is made from Olive Squalene. Squalene is one of the major components of the skin's own oil (sebum). After our early 20's, or skin starts producing less Squalene. MooGoo Anti-Ageing Cream "tops" up the skin's Squalene to maintain the oil balance of young skin. This helps resists lines forming. Secondly, it should supply the type of anti-oxidants to the skin that penetrate and remain stable. The star anti-oxidants for this cream are Resveratrol and Ascorbyl Tetraisopalmitate, both included at the maximum suggested percentage by the supplier. MooGoo uses the highest quality micronised Resveratrol of 1um size for best absorption and almost 100% purity.
MooGoo Anti-Ageing Antioxidant Cream is rich in Antioxidants for protection against free radicals to help prevent ageing. Free radicals are created as an essential part of life when food is oxidized to create energy, and also from UV radiation or other stress such as smoking. They are highly charged oxygen that cause "oxidisation". If you've seen a peeled apple turn brown, you've seen oxidation in action. Oxidization can also cause other health problems in the skin. Antioxidants help prevent oxidization by mopping up free radicals. As antioxidants block the effects of free radicals, they end up being oxidized themselves.
- Green Tea - Photoprotective effects of green tea polyphenols (EGCG). Raspberry Seed Oil contains exceptionally high levels of alpha and gamma tocopherols (vit. E), vit. A and omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids. This provides the skin with significant broad spectrum protection from damaging UV-A and UV-B rays.
- Niacinamide (Vitamin B3) - One of the key signs that skin has been exposed to a lot of sun over the years is areas of hyperpigmentation, age spots etc. Niacindamide is a widely studied ingredient that si used to help protect the skin from hyperpigmentation following UV exposure.
- Squalane (Olive) - Olive squalane is produced from olives. Squalane enhances skin elasticity and moisture retention. It is also a unique antioxidant that protects our skin from free-radical damages. Olive squalane's composition is very similar to human sebum (oil) and can penetrate our skin very quickly to help our skin to fight dryness. Squalane is not to be confused with squalene, which is a form of shark liver oil and tends to quickly oxidize when exposed to the air.
- Polygonum Cuspidatum (Japanese Knotweed – Resveratrol) - Resveratrol is an effective anti-oxidant which may be an important additive to skin products.
- Ascorbyl Tetraisopalmitate (Oil-Soluble Vitamin C) - Ascorbyl Tetraisopalmitate is an oil-soluble derivative of Vitamin C. It’s a powerful antioxidant that slows the rate of free-radical damage (free radicals are unstable molecules that damage collagen and cause skin dryness, fine lines and wrinkles.) Studies have shown Vitamin C to stimulate collagen production as well as promoting a more even skin tone. This form of Vitamin C is absorbed by the skin very easily and is well tolerated by even the most sensitive skin types.
