Weleda Haemorrhoidal Ointment is Formulated to Support the Relief of External Haemorroids
Weleda Haemorrhoidal Ointment helps relieve the pain, swelling and discomfort of external haemorrhoids (piles) and fissures. (Weleda also recommends the use of Achillea Comp. oral drops.)

Ingredients: Each 1g contains:
- Tincture, equiv. fresh juice: Borago officinalis, leaf 20mg; Calendula officinalis, flower 50mg; Decoction, equiv. dry: Quercus robur, bark 5mg; Extract, equiv. dry: Aesculus hippocastanum, bark 20mg; Hamamelis virginiana, leaf 50mg; Oil extract, equiv. dry: Calendula officinalis, flower 19.6mg; Equisetum arvense, herb 9.5mg; Rosmarinus officinalis, leaf 18mg; and Zinc oxide 50mg; and essential oils: Lavender Oil 4mg; Pumilio Pine Oil 5mg; Rosemary Oil 20mg; in a base containing natural vegetable oils and beeswax.
- Free from synthetic fragrances, preservatives, parabens and free from petrochemical derivatives, e.g. paraffins.

A little goes a long way, does the job.

Great Product
I tried Proctosedyl Ointment from the pharmacy to treat a prolapsed haemorrhoid brought on by pregnancy. It made it more comfortable but there was no or little improvement after 5 days, twice a day. I felt uneasy using a steroid during pregnancy & tried Weleda. There was noticeable improvement after just one application of Weleda & it continued to improve quickly. 90% improvement after one week of treatment.
